Since joining the Korea Tourism Organization in 2001, Yong-An has worked in overseas tourism marketing at the Bangkok office, Medical Tourism Center, and Guangzhou office, predicting and analyzing the direction of the inbound market, working with various stakeholders such as local governments and RTOs, and developing new business in the field of tourism promotion and marketing.

During his secondment to the Nuclear Security Summit Preparatory Planning Team (2011-2012), Yong-An was in charge of the summit’s banquet event and experienced collaboration with leading domestic hotels, which sparked his interest in the hospitality industry. Yong-An is currently the head of the Tourism Entrepreneurship Team, which is in charge of discovering and fostering domestic tourism startups, and has had many exchanges with hotel and hospitality tech companies. Yong-An is interested in innovating the hospitality ecosystem and continues to communicate and interact with various industry experts.

2001년 관광공사 입사 후 방콕지사, 의료관광센터, 광저우지사 등지에서 해외 관광마케팅 업무를 수행하며 인바운드 시장의 방향을 예측‧분석하고, 지자체, RTO 등 다양한 이해관계자와들과 현장에서 같이 호흡하며 관광 프로모션 및 마케팅 분야에서의 신규 사업 개발 등의 업무를 수행해왔습니다.

핵안보정상회의 준비기획단  파견근무(2011-2012) 기간동안 정상회의 연회행사를 담당하면서 국내 유수의 호텔과 협업을 경험하며 호텔산업에 대해 관심을 갖게 되었고 현재는 국내 관광스타트업을 발굴하고 육성 업무를 총괄하는 관광기업창업팀장으로 재직하면서 호텔/호스티팔리티 테크기업과의 많은 교류를 하고 있으며 숙박업 생태계 혁신에 관심을 갖고 지속적으로 다양한 업계  전문가와 소통, 교류하고 있습니다.
