Karthik is a professional with close to ~17 years of experience in sales, business development, tech consulting, & people management across complex industries & markets. Through his career journey, Karthik has consciously tried to pick roles in unexplored territories outside his comfort zone, to accelerate his learning and also drive huge impact. Software Engineer to a techno-functional consultant to a digital seller to becoming a MarTech Leader, he has experienced his share of highs and lows all through, but has taken immense learnings through his career.
During his stint at Google for the last 12 years, he has donned various roles and currently acts as the Country Lead for Ads Tech Partnerships for Google India. In his current role, he has built a team of technical consultants that bring the best of marketing and technology together, to solve the biggest marketing problems that brands face through custom tech interventions. Karthik has been closely involved with the Travel Industry as a digital seller where has led CXO relationships with the largest Travel brands to help carve out their digital strategy through Google Ads.
Prior to Google, Karthik started his career as a Software Engineer with Infosys and spent 5 years as a Techno-Functional consultant in the domain of Oracle ERP.
Karthik spends a lot of time coaching & mentoring upcoming digital marketers – be it to MBA students as a digital marketer, mentoring women employees returning to corporate after a break and many Googlers internally. Karthik is extremely passionate about education and has been awarded the “Distinguished Scholar” award by the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
