Hugh began his hospitality journey in 2004 as a pre-opening front office team member at Former W Seoul, followed by front office supervisor at MEA Seoul as pre-opening team. Couple of years later then he returned to Starwood and joined the Sheraton Grand Incheon team as duty manager and progressed to Front Office Manager. In 2016, Hugh also participated in Starwood global headline project “Global Personalization at Starwood” as a AP regional master facilitator. Hugh took up his first Director role in Sheraton Palace as Assistant Director of Rooms during its Re-branding phase. In 2017, Hugh joined Accor at Novotel & Novotel Suites Seoul Yongsan 900-room hotel. After few years later, Hugh move to Hyatt property at Andaz Seoul. In 2021 Hugh joined the Novotel Dongdaemun team as Room Division Manager and now he’s working as Director of Operation since 2023. Hugh has over 20 years work experience in operation and has 6 pre-opening experience.

운영 총괄 팀장, 노보텔 앰배서더 서울 동대문 호텔 앤 레지던스 이치훈 팀장은 올해로 호텔업 경력 20년차로 2004년 W Seoul의 개관 멤버로 커리어를 시작하였고, 이후 메리어트 이그제큐티브 아파트먼트 서울, 쉐라톤 그랜드 인천, 쉐라톤 팔래스 강남, 노보텔 & 노보텔 스위트 용산, 안다즈 서울 강남 등 여러 호텔의 오프닝 팀으로 근무한 경험이 있으며 2014년 스타우드의 글로벌 헤드라인 프로젝트의 아시아 지역 마스터 퍼실리테이터 참여한 바 있으며 2023년부터 노보텔 서울 동대문에서 운영 총괄 팀장으로 근무하고 있다.
