HSMAI Role: Chair, HSMAI Revenue Advisory Board – Asia Pacific

Fanie Swanepoel is the Senior Vice President of Revenue Optimization at Marina Bay Sands. Prior to joining the hospitality industry in 2001, he worked in diverse industries including insurance, pension funding and motoring. Relocated to Singapore in 2010 to establish the Gaming Optimization team for Marina Bay Sands and is currently overseeing their Revenue Optimization department who is tasked with the strategic analyses of gaming, hotel, conference and marketing operations. In 1997, he attained a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) degree with specialization in Econometrics at the University of Pretoria (South Africa).
