George is currently the Director of Hotel Operations at Marina Bay Sands, overseeing a team of 360 team members from the Front Office, Concierge, Guest Services, Butler and Groups Operations teams.

A graduate of Michigan State University, with a degree from The School of Hospitality with a specialization in International Lodging. He has years of international management experience working with the Las Vegas Sands at The Venetian & The Palazzo in the US and has been with the flagship property – Marina Bay Sands- in Singapore since 2009. Within Marina Bay Sands, George has built up a wealth of operations and leadership experience in working with various departments on property. He started as Front Office Manager in 2009, progressed to the position of Associate Director of Housekeeping in 2011, and in 2014, took leadership of the Guest Services, Transportation and Concierge teams as Director.

George is a member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore and the Association of Rooms Division Executives (ARDE). His passion for the industry led him to set up a ‘Pursuit of Hospitality’ scholarship back in his hometown in Saginaw, Michigan. In his free time, he enjoys a weekly game of ice hockey with the Singapore Ice Hockey Association.
