Nikhil Sharma is a member of the HSMAI India Chapter Board.
Nikhil is a seasoned hospitality professional and leader with over 25 years of experience in the industry. He is currently the Managing Director and Area Senior Vice President, South Asia at Radisson Hotel Group (RHG), one of the largest and most dynamic hotel groups in the world. In this role, he oversees 165+ hotels in operation and development, and is responsible for driving revenue, performance, quality, and brand engagement in the fast-growing region.
Nikhil brings over two decades of experience in the hospitality industry, having worked for major players in the region across strategy and planning, business development, revenue management and distribution. Prior to WH&R Nikhil was the Chief Operating Officer at Ginger hotels, A TATA Enterprise, where he led the company’s operations, growth portfolio, as well as its digital and loyalty strategy. He was also one of the founding members at the Lemon Tree Hotel Company, building India’s fastest growing upscale hotel brand. As COO East, Central & West, he reported to the CMD; owned full P&L / ROI.
Nikhil holds a Diploma in Hotel Management from the Institute of Hotel Management, Pusa, New Delhi and a certification from Cornell University School of Hotel Administration. He has collaborated with many high-profile industry organisations, serving as Chair and Convener for Skills and Entrepreneurship, Confederation of Indian Industry, Delhi State Council, and the Steering committee of Confederation of Indian Industry.
